ABOUT LE CITY KITTY

Founded in 2008, Le City Kitty was thought to bring fashion to the masses. For so long I wanted to transition successfully into a career in styling and wanted the opportunity to display my talent. A friend suggested with my skills in Graphic Design and some know-how in Web Design I could create a website showcasing looks that I would put together. I thought it genius and went to work. After two months of trial and error, Le City Kitty was born.

I began using images provided by Net-A-Porter because I appreciated the way in which they photographed their pieces. Each look is entirely my own. I would never create nor post anything I did not stand true to or even remotely wear myself. I totally love shopping like most girls but for me when I look at a top I don’t just say “hey bitchin’ tee”, I imagine an entire outfit in my mind, the top then works for me or it doesn’t. Look of the week then emerged.

The Le City Kitty blog portion is the main event. There lyes must -haves of the season, fashion shows, look book collections, worship worthy designers, trends I’m gagging over and any other fashion related yummy goodness I can squeeze in there. Fashion Illustration also plays a role in the blog. My heart goes pitter-patter for art and fashion and the two combined send me into cardiac arrest.

ABOUT ME

Born and raised in New York and always surrounded by talented individuals in my life. I grew up an artist trained by my dad and passed along the skill to my younger brother who is now a successful tattoo artist. Art was always in my world and as an adult I leaned towards the more graphic and web concept of art and design.

Fashion was a secret love of mine, I was never really comfortable with myself to fully delve into the fashion world for fear of judgement from my peers. I gave those concepts up and really took a turn towards the best path for me.

My mom is a shoe horse and goes gaga for accessories so I guess that is why the love for it came so easily. I crave fashion, it lives with me. The idea that one so creative could design the perfect dress, shoe, or bag totally amazes me. I will forever seek the new and unordinary piece whether it be clothing, accessories or an amazing pair of shoes.
